RAP1D T3ST [LP]

Jack spent the final 10 days of 2021 writing songs in quarantine — one per day, until the CDC released him from isolation. What started as a distraction turned into a full-fledged album complete with characters that have through-lines across multiple songs, dramatic and varied musical arrangements, and seamless track-to-track transitions. Each song on RAP1D T3ST was written, recorded and mixed in 24 hours.

[day 6] features Nathan Reising on saxophone. Shyamala co-wrote lyrics for [day 7] and sings and plays violin on [day 9] and [day 10].

DOUBLE BACK [EP]

The songs on Double Back drop the listener in mid-conversation. An attempt to console a friend when you find yourselves lost in the woods; a moment of panic when your partner says “can I ask you something?”; a mantra repeated to oneself throughout the day “it’s only so if I make it so”; the lyrics sketch scenes that are at once hyper-specific and familiar.
